auDA Seeks To Enforce Their “Code of Conduct” (CoC)

This is a satirical piece i.e. “taking the piss”. 😉

Whilst this has not as yet been advertised, there is probably an upcoming position for an Investigator at auDA – the .au Domain Administration.

I can imagine that the “Job Advert” will read something like this:

Please Note

♦  This is not a real job advert.

♦  Before anyone may want to threaten to sue me for defamation; this is intended as satire.

Some say auDA has an inappropriate CoC.

At the least, I am glad that I can’t get in trouble for a CoC violation without my fellow members taking a good look at it and agreeing.

@Don – some within auDA love it (so I’ve heard). Others maybe not so much.

Its amazing how close you are to the truth here Ned; my membership has to go before the board to be approved. Thats strange.

auDA needs to focus on the input they have been receiving where improvements are required but instead of completing the tasks they are focused on an apparent cover up and  censoring of all auDA related issues.

It is a very serious time when auDA has seemingly devoted resources and money to muting both members, media and any people from speaking out on valid problems.

It is time for the Federal Government or another body to take over from auDA.

Will auDA try to mute their members from speaking out who are lawyers or media related… things will go far worse for auDA and the board and as Directors some people may find their Director insurance will not cover them. In fact in an open court if things will be further exposed most probably on the public record for reading. Obviously there are vast amounts of materials available for anyone to present in their defense and to shift the investigation and spotlight back onto auDA.

Suggestions for auDA they are fully aware of. What are they doing to complete these tasks? Have they gone backwards now?

I would only apply for the job if a real-life silver “auDA Cyber Crime Division” badge could be made up so I could pin it on my shirt.

Your son’s got skills, Ned 🙂

If auDA move forward with this division, please make sure they pay Luke for his time in developing this, as I reckon it’s spot-on. I believe they have quite a budget at the moment too, so don’t be shy with the hourly rate.

If I go up for the job, and get chosen, I’ll make it part of my contract that a badge similar to this be available to wear at all times when I am not sleeping in my bed. Because that’s the kind of commitment this will take. Whoever gets this role… whenever their eyes are open, they should be “on the case”.

@Robert – I think that the job that they’re actually advertising is in their CoC Squad. So I got Luke to do up a badge for this too.

Maybe we need to get the Communications Minister interested….

AuDA seems to be going rogue and isn’t instilling much faith in the community.

    What’s changed AuDA?

Ned – You forgot to add in the job application that no prior industry experience is required (Can’t upstage the CEO or Chair ; )
