Powerful, Popular & Premium

Three letter domains are premium cyber property – plain and simple. Think “supply and demand”, and you can understand why.

They are also very popular – more and more businesses are starting to understand their worth and benefits. These short domain names easily make up the largest portion of our sales in terms of both quantity and value.

Why invest in a 3L domain? Because they offer so many powerful benefits.  Here are just a few:

  • Short and memorable – a 3L domain is unique to your brand, and easy for anyone to remember.
  • Think of the great email addresses you can have!
  • Brand legitimacy and recognition – stand out from the competition.
  • There can only ever be one .com.au extension of each three letter name.
  • They are never going to be cheaper than they are today – their value is only going to go up.

What Do They Cost?

In reality, these are not a “cost”. They are an investment / an asset. And like a good home in the best suburb, they are always resalable.

For a good 3L domain name, be prepared to invest anywhere from $2500 to $15,000 – some have sold for less; some have sold for more.

We used to think that some particular letters would sell better than others, but over time, that theory has proved incorrect. If you have a look at our list of recent sales below, you will see that there is no particular pattern.

Luke, that is a great list of sales and what looks like an entire dictionary of perfect end users.

With the 23 hour drop cycle it would have been almost impossible for these people to have been in the right place at the right time to have secured these domains without you.

    Keep up the good work.
