It's all about domain names
Earlier this year – before even thinking of the possibility of a reacquiring Domainer – I ran an email newsletter called “Virtual Property”. This sent out a list of around 10 domains three times a week.
Prices were very generous too! I sold a lot of domain names – but more importantly, buyers picked up some absolute bargains.

The updated .au Domain Administration (auDA) Terms of Endorsement were today released by The Hon Paul Fletcher (Minister of Communications etc).
Cutting a long story short, nothing has really changed. Just pats on the backs for the tremendous job auDA has supposedly done. But for those desirous of the nitty gritty detail, Domainer has supplied relevant links.

To be eligible to register an .org.au in Australia, the simple premise is that you must be a not-for-profit organisation.
However, there are some registrars out there that simply don’t have the checks in place. Anyone can register an .org.au without evidence of being a non-profit. Generally these registrars are overseas based – and amongst the biggest! Read full article …

If you have a problem with your electricity or gas supplier – or your phone or internet provider – and their management and staff decide you are wrong, you can take your concerns to an independent Ombudsman. You may not be successful, but it offers some sort of safeguard that you are being treated fairly.
Does auDA the Aussie domain name regulator have an independent ombudsman? Unfortunately not.

In what is welcome news for domain investors, registrants and entrepreneurs, a 3 Member WIPO Panel has just unanimously decided in favour of the legitimate Registrant of this generic domain name. This was despite a Complainant (with deep pockets) instructing Minter Ellison to go after the domain.

There is a current dispute between two air charter businesses over the domain name aircharterservices.com.au. It is being dealt with via the auDRP process.
